At least until DCB gets reinstated. His banning was pure bullshit. And I won't go to CoG, not even as a troll, because Craig and I hate each others guts and since I want to be me, I can't do the PC shit that's required at CoG anyway: My troll would be pinpointed instantly.
But this place is empty... KEWL: I'm gonna wreack havoc on it. Hehe.

Yeah, I'm pretty over it too. In fact, I don't find any of my forums to be fun anymore. Not here, this is like home. Not much excitement but you can check in with friends, all of whom I have met for real now except you Mylaan sincew you are east. FF is different. Its been inactive for a while now though I know Rick wanted to get it going again. But he doesn't have time anymore and he's better off for it. He's taking care of his family and really digs his dad status. So I'm happy to have this place to check in. The other forums aren't working for me right now. CA is just stupid and a waste of time. This last thing with Dales sums it up for me. As respectful as I have always tried to be there, how insulting is it to not even warrant an ancknowledgement from the mod. Fuck them all. I'm sick of ontheway. I'm sick of beev. I know phoney Jodi is there. Maybe at COG too. I'm just not in the mood to play these games anymore

And apparently, Kurt has no problem letting Dales conduct himself like some putrid little dictator over there.
The standards have gone from bad to worse to worst.
I might consider trolling when PMS strikes and I'm bored to tears, but even that doesn't appeal to me right now.

I don't see anything redeeming about CA. Kurt seems...inattentive. Back when Amendment 2 was something in the future, I PM'ed a suggestion to him, and he never read it...so he must not even pay attention to the forum all that much. I finally deleted the PM when it was clear that my suggestion was irrelevant.
I really think they should just nuke the CA forum. The only redeeming quality it has is the same redeeming quality of LA. It sucks the assholes from the other forums.
As for CoG, I enjoy it, though I have been sticking mainly to the social side rather than the political side of it. Jodi may be there, but I refuse to be paranoid about it. That's easier for me to do, I guess, since I wasn't the primary target.
It saddens me that you (Mylaan) aren't welcome there, but I guess not everyone can get along with everyone else.
Freedom Files can be cool...but it's dead...

It's their loss Sashe. You were one unique character amoungst so many partial personalities that it's SSDD there. Hasn't gotten any better in the 2 years I've been gone, sounds like. What a shameful waste of a public forum where real and differing opinions could be tossed around. I miss the old days when not quite as many people were online. Like, with XT? Back in the day we really had some run-ins, but I learned a lot from him, and learned to defend my position better or understand my position better sometimes. I hope he's in a better place and doing fine, even though I became terribly angry with him over the Iraq war. I have to admit, learning about him bothered me more than I expected. It's just a shame, I'll never get to know how he felt about it later, whether he changed his mind or not, I didn't care. I like what you all said about FF, it was good to check in when we got another computer, this really gave me a lift.  So hey, keep checking in here sometimes Mylaan, okay? |
