She tried that. It turned out to be like fire and gasoline. While this isn't a direct quote, Barabus basically told her to get the hell out and stay out.

I like Mylaan, myself, but she's got a style all her own. She likes her "chew toys". She can be very confrontational at times, and that - well - at the Church of Groove - did not go over too well.

He almost said the same thing to me once, too, when we got into an argument that got really heated - more heated than I understood at the time, actually.

I was calm, collected, and logical...but I touched a raw nerve, and things exploded. Jodi came to my defense, but it was later revealed that she did that just to pick a fight so that she'd have an excuse to leave.

It all got smoothed over in the end, though, obviously, or I wouldn't still be there.

At any rate, the Church of Groove prides itself on not being CA. It is generally a laid back place, and I think Mylaan's confrontational style threatened "the groove", and that's why she was told that she was no longer welcome.

To be honest, I wasn't paying all that much attention. All I remember was that you two went at it, at one point, CAMod decided that it wasn't worth the effort, you pressed on the attack, and things were locked down since the perception was that the dojo thread would only be a perpetual battle, which would never resolve any differences.

Hmmm well I guess I'll have to take a wait and see attitude. One got a little snippy (and I honestly don't know if I'm familiar with him/her or not) with me, over repeating something already said in the thread, yesterday, first day I registered and posted something.

Sure, like half the thread wasn't bullshit anyway. No matter, it's all in fun, but it was funny to see someone take that attitude right off. Even though I had already said I was coming in late to the topic, much had already been said, and I just had a few opinions based on some facts I don't believe people were considering, overall, in any of the discussions I'd seen.

Such as, for instance, say the radicals could somehow get their way and really and truly deport 12 or (or, I have to say or because no one seems to really know, like it's so damned unimportant how many illegal aliens there are, and like they'd feel safe to come out with telling anyone, nowadays)...breathe, deep breath...IF they could get their way and deport all those people...what would happen to them? 20 million people, do those right-wingers really thing millions wouldn't die in a nation that can't support the people it already has...they pay thousands to risk leaving...and sending them back wouldn't be the most terrible humanitarian crisis our generations has ever seen? How could it go any other way?

I don't miss CoG at all... I lurk there because sometimes I want to find out what's going on with some friends I have there, mostly, but the walk-on-eggs-
