I think OG hit the nail on the head when she told Riley that it was all hypothetical to him. Even though I was nicer about it, it was always an abstract, a hypothetical. IF x and y are true, then z is true. Nice and neat.
It wasn't until the fake suicide that this stuff became about lives. I've known a guy (he's in Vegas now) since high school that is bisexual...and it was still a logic exercise until someone I knew killed herself...or...rather...didn't. How fucked up is that?

How very strange. I totally missed most of this thread, and I've been here a bunch. How did that happen?
I pity Riley. He seems like someone who's not very happy with his life.

Yeah, I never know what to think about Riley. He's different. On many levels I like him, but when the talk turns to gays he shows what he's made of. I find it makes me sad rather than the reaction that I feel from beev or others. I guess I expected more from him so its more of a disappointment.

Yeah, that pretty well describes my reaction to Riley as well.

Well... there's been a recent influx of new usernames, and huh... most of them really don't sound like they have any gray matter between the ears. Oh well. I don't post a lot except when I'm on the hunt for a chewtoy, these days because the boards fascists are quite boring. Although sometimes, it's kinda fun to fuck with Beev. Cheap, not exactly brainy, but fun, in that easy instant low level entertainment way. Hey I'm human. |
