I'm just saying that it's my favorite quote. What purpose? I'm sure there's someone looking for a prison bitch just like him...

That just isn't enough. Hell, many women have marriages that aren't any better than the prison bitch situation. If he's going to be in prison I'd rather see him in solitary confinement for the rest of his life. Still not good enough for me. What he did was monstrous. I think I could give the injection.

Dear lord.
Yeah, cause we've all had those "damn I got too drunk and beheaded someone" days.
What the hell is wrong with people.
I have no ethical problem with the death penalty in theory, but it's manner of implementation makes me against it.

I'm assuming that you're referring to the idea of killing the wrong person, not the method?

Yes, exactly. And also, the fact that race plays into it far more than it should even in cases of guilty parties. And the endless amounts of appeals and sitting on death row for years and the absurd legal fees involved in the appeals. It's an absurd mess.

Mylaan, those are perfectly valid arguments against the death penalty and truthfully my only hesitation would be concern that an innocent person would be executed. In a case like this, where he has admitted to doing it even, that just doesn't apply as far as I'm concerned. I do understand why you all are opposed, yet I just don't see it the same. I am not a believer that every capital offense should be a death penalty case but some crimes are just so over the top and this is one of those. There also seems to be no doubt as to his guilt. Thankfully his brother has a conscience and turned him in or he may have even gotten away with this and gone on to date other women and very likely pose a danger to them as well. Some people are too sick to live amongst us. Its sad but I think our compassion should be reserved primarily for the victims. I can't help but wonder what in this person's life made him this way, but its the way he is regardless.

woops didnt mean to copy that oh well whatever. i just wanted to say i dont think anyone is to sick to live on our planet or whayever you prefer to call it. and i respect that you think we should reserve our sympathy to the victim but in my own sick and some what twisted ways i think we should maybe save the last bit of sympathy in our souls for the killer that may sound sick i guess but dont you think he must have had to gone through somthing really bad for him to have that much hate in him. although that is no excuss to take another womns life ,in the great words of metalica [you can not kill what you did not creat] love amber

There are times that police tactics lead to false confessions and all manner of ineptness in the labs leads me to be anti-death penalty. There are too many wonky variables to make the death penalty a valid option in this society. However, I agree that this bastard deserves to die, preferably by having his manhood removed and then shoved down his throat!(can you tell I'm Sicilian?)
