Didn't just fly out a couple dozen...flew out over a hundred Saudis. Sold out big time, that's us.
... documents were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the Justice Department by Judicial Watch, a conservative legal group, which provided copies to The New York Times.
The material sheds new light on the aftermath of the Sept. 11 attacks, and it provides details about the F.B.I.'s interaction with at least 160 Saudis who were living in or visiting the United States and were allowed to leave the country. Some of the departing Saudis were related to Osama bin Laden.
more and more and more...
We've been sold to the highest bidder people. We have. No doubt about out it.
Hope we're all ready with our burkas, because THAT would help with peace and stability, wouldn't it? Another scary thought that has occured to me. A safe, stable theocracy...doesn't have to be Christian.
And on this world stage? Why should it be? Christianity? Will we be able to stand against the great liars? Is there any profit in their fighting it? Think about it. These people would embrace Islam at the drop of a hat, for a dollar.
An it's happened before, throughout history, a new religious order taking over a nation. If we're all beggers in an empty, powerless nation, is it far fetched? Crazy to think we'll fall under the sway of the rich and royal oil barons? Unreasonable for them to try to "take us over" economnically, and then socially? Do the Arabs leaders respect or admire our culture and our religion so much, or do they go on at length about our evils? What would be a "victory" to them?
What would be a victory to these people? In their heart of hearts, they wouldn't love to pervert every social equality we've been able to establish? They don't like women doing anything without permission of a man. Women know their "place", and pay dearly when they step out of it. They're not so different in their ideals from the zealots here; they hate abortion too. Sure they do! And birth control. And health care for women. And, in the end, any woman that does not abide by their rules. Theocratic rules. Religious zealots; frequently it doesn't matter the religion. Perhaps we should be aware of this.
Such as the anti-abortion/right-to-life zealots, activists, bomb-building religious warriors. They define life as beginning at concepetion, sperm meets egg, and will kill those that disagree. Have killed those that disagree. Those that DO believe a woman place is "in the home". Many Arabs seek to hold onto their "conservative" past TOO. Where everything is "stable" and safe, and everyone does what they "should".
THESE are the people our government does business with. In large numbers, with a lot of money. SO sold out. We're like poor Terri, dead and done without even realizing it. Looks alive, but isn't.
