If my vote is private, why does the nice policeman ask to see my ballot when I come out of the booth? Obviously I know my vote is private. I don't really remember what my original point was. Except I think I was trying to be funny. Something about it being a shame that you can't tell people who you're voting for without a firefight. I guess it didn't really come across like that. I wish I had been drunk when I wrote it, that would have been a better excuse. Instead I'll try this one: Outgirl's blue balls have made me lose my concentration though. I thought it was funny ZK  Especially my confusion over whether you were really serious or not! I agree too, with the point you make. It can tick someone off before you realize you're doing it, talking about politics and current events. Rick and I disagree over who to vote for. And I respect him the same. All the more, in fact. I'm a "Kerry". I somewhat buy his line, and more, want Bush out no matter what. I wouldn't say I'm under any illusions over what Kerry stands for; you never really know what they're going to do until they're in. He may be no better. His agenda may not be any different. In terms of human rights, Kerry talks a much better game. imho Soooooooooooooo WHO'S HOLDING THE ELECTION PARTY? ? ? ? ? ? ? ;D and no, pyro, before you ask...you can't get drunk  |

Speaking of Buffy... Thanks to FX and TiVo, I've now seen the entire series 4 or 5 times. I'm still amazed at how good the show is. Especially the consistency. The interconnectedness of the last season all the way back to the first season is incredible. I don't know of any show that maintained that kind of attention to detail.
I wish there were more seasons.

Speaking of Buffy... Thanks to FX and TiVo, I've now seen the entire series 4 or 5 times. I'm still amazed at how good the show is. Especially the consistency. The interconnectedness of the last season all the way back to the first season is incredible. I don't know of any show that maintained that kind of attention to detail. I wish there were more seasons. Maybe movies? Like Star Trek, only cooler? - Rick |

When ZK refers to the Squad that threatens him if he doesn't vote Kerry he really only means Michelle.  The only other person that has given him crap is me but I can really care less. I will pull the "I told you so" later down the line if you vote for Bush again and then realize later that it was a mistake. Anyone who passes up an "I told you so" opportunity is a fool. He neglected to mention that there are some other members of the Squad besides himself that are not voting Kerry. ZK is twisting the facts for his own secrete agenda. Beware of ZK. I wish there were more seasons. I'd nominate Babylon 5. That shwo was written beginning to end before it was ever filmed. There are a lot of instances in the show where something happens as a result of something else that happened long before in another episode. |
