Hi Rick! I got this thing working finally. Now I can post so much that you'll ban me!!!! Woo Hoo!
Alright, current affairs... It looks like Missouri's ammendment 2 banning gay marriage is going to pass. It pisses me off that these people that voted for this are willing to let the government change the state constitution just to make sure that their little religious views are followed by everyone else. Record voter turnout for this!!!! How many people would have participated in the electorial process today if sex wasn't on the ballot? Sheep...
These are the people that will die when the masses of flesh eating zombies attack the living. These fundamentalists will be too concerned over other humans' sex lives to get out and arm themselves to take as many of the damned with them back to hell where they belong.

And of course I screw up the poll with my first post.
There was supposed to be a third option:
Sex

Hey ZK - good to see you. Where's kender tonight? Busy on another board. oh well. So yeah, is it any surprise that the folks who voted for the CA to ban marriage also voted against gambling? Seems like someone in the pulpit got em all out to vote. It seriously pisses me off - how can I teach my kids about free will, tolerance and acceptance when the majority of their state is saying "no we don't like that". (BTW - where'd Melissa get her boots - the ones in the squad pix? Those are way cool.)

It's funny. The only winning vote I cast today was for Claire McKaskill. I thought the other two, especially #2, were much more important votes. Damn. This is a dark day in Missouri. On a happier note, welcome aboard, Zombie! When you first said you were coming, I started a thread just for you: Why do movie zombies run so fast?? - Rick

I guess you teach your kids by reminding them that the world is full of idiots and our goal in life is not to be the biggest one. Do you mean Michelle? I'll ask next meeting.

I guess you teach your kids by reminding them that the world is full of idiots and our goal in life is not to be the biggest one. That's fantastic. - Rick

Well we all know that I'm not a pulpit girl. I voted against the gambling but for me it was a vote for the environment at a place that I love. Tanneycomo (sp?) is one of my favorite lakes and I just didn't want it ruined with pollution from the casino and their patrons damnit. Write the fucking ammendment to put it in Branson which is already kinda obscene anyway and leave the lakes alone. Anyway, that's my feeling. Sorry if it was important to you guys. My neighbor was pissed. He said that he voted for me so I should've voted for him, lol.

I think it is obscene we have to vote on whether someone is allowed to open a legal business. 2. The people of RB wanted it. - Rick
