Hello and welcome to my 100th post. I'd like to thank all the Socialists and Fascists for giving me plenty of good material to work with. And, of course, thanks to Rick for giving us a place to say what needs to be said.
As for Rush Limbaugh, I don't buy his equality for all message. If a conservative politician rather than Clear Channel Communications had been the one pushing for Howard Stern's firing, I imagine he would have backed it right up with talking points off the RNC website.
I do think his comments show that he's not all that confident of Bush being re-elected anymore. I think he believes Kerry might win and then outlaw conservative idealism.
Let's try to remember how he didn't change his tune about drug addicts even after being investigated for it himself in oxy-gate. Rush is one of the most hypocritical people in the country (as hard-line party politicos tend to be)
Speaking of oxy-gate, how is it possible that Rush, who was acquiring thousands of pills illegally went to a 30-day rehab; yet Courtney Love, who actually had a prescription for them, was arrested and is in danger of losing her child for being found with 2 pills?

And, of course, thanks to Rick for giving us a place to say what needs to be said. Well, hello, Mr. Full Member, and thank you for saying what needs to be said. (I have almost 500 posts, btw...) As for Rush Limbaugh, I don't buy his equality for all message. If a conservative politician rather than Clear Channel Communications had been the one pushing for Howard Stern's firing, I imagine he would have backed it right up with talking points off the RNC website. I'm currently reading Saying Yes: In Defense of Drug Use by Jacob Sullum. So far, it is fantastic, and will probably make it onto my Freedom Files Reading List. - Rick
