Someone hacked into EZboards and wiped out all their forums including COG. It's awful. All those threads disappeared. I hope it doesn't happen with proboards. AJ said that they improved the security with the new updates so maybe we're safe. Why would someone do such a thing?

Wow, how bizarre.
Why? Because people are crazy friggin nuts. That's a shame about COG, they sound like fun folks, I think I went there once a while back. Be funny if it was "official" fed interference/infiltration/spying/hacking them, with the COG supporting the Bush admin, if I remember correctly. I figure the feds, with their sweeping powers, well, they'd be fools not to use all their tools, so I'm suspicious of any crap I hear like that. That would be richly ironic. Not that I'm saying it's probable or even likely, just possible.

I'd say about 50% support Bush. The other 50%...well doesn't. Now they are all saying that it was ezboards themselves that are to blame for faulty back ups. I'm not computer saavy so I don't get what they're saying but I think ezboards lied about that. Sashenka lost her board too.

I just got back to this thread. I hopped back on because I remembered I'd forgotten to exhalt someone today, and you're IT  Yes, that sounds about right, on the backups. If you don't do them right, they're no damn good at all. And if you don't DO them at all, which I've seen, things can get permanently lost. It's bad, just bad. What a bunch of losers. Backups aren't THAT hard, once you have it set up. It's one of those things that marks the difference between the pros and amatures, imho. From a database perspective, it's nothing short of crucial. It's one of those things that large businesses frequently spend sums of money for offsite storage, in case of a catastrophe. After 911, offsite backups were the thing, for a while there. |

You on the other hand, it says are female. Incidentally, I did an exalt, then backed up and tried it again, and finally found out what the rule is. You can only exalt someone once an hour. Woah! I saw you guys commenting about "sweetness facilitator" and now "lesbian goddess", but I only now realized what you were talking about. I'm a Model Christian? *blush* |

Somehow the upgrades gave us a penis but I have corrected that. Whatever is still male. Funny. I thought that model christian title might embarrass you, lol. But truely, you are kender. I don't agree with your religious views but admire how you are still able to accomadate other views so that we can find common ground to live together. That's all I want. |
