Happy and Safe Holidays to anyone who may read this (i.e. Rick and family) ;D
I leave tomorrow for New Orleans where we're having our annual family reunion. Won't be here in beautiful St. Louis for the festivities, but I will be back for New Year's Eve.
Be safe and happy and never trust your government.

Well, I've returned unscathed from Nawlins. It took less than 12 hours from the time my plane touched down in the Big Easy until I saw a topless transvestite prostitute being arrested. There really is no place in the world quite like New Orleans.
Got some good photos that I will have developed sometime this week. Saw the St. Louis cathedral, the oldest jazz club in the country and went to a piano bar located in Jean Lafitte's former blacksmith shop built in the 1700's. It's the oldest building in the country currently being used as a bar.
Hope everyone's Christmas was as good and happy as mine.

Meg's (my wife's) little sister got Connor the best present of the year - a tiny little Ramones t-shirt! How cool is that??Meg and I went to New Orleans for our honeymoon nearly five years ago. It was a fantastic place. We stayed in the French Quarter, in the Hotel Provincal, and it was so much fun. We rented a car and went to Biloxi to see the Cirque du Soleil, which was really cool, too. The coolest thing about New Orleans is how open minded the people living there are. - Rick
