Zero Patience for Zero Tolerance

None were found. Although the incident was extreme, it was not an aberration but the logical consequences of "zero tolerance" policies, defended by both the school and the police. Zero tolerance must be abandoned, especially in connection with children.

Rights in this country extend to the end of one's arm in a voting booth. Children have no rights because they can't vote. They can get pissed, they can feel cheated, but they can't do anything about it.

I wonder how many millions of dollars in settlements would be awarded if that illegal drug raid had happened at a place of business, even if it were initiated by the president/owner of the company.

Children have consistently gotten the short end of every stick in history. All under the guise of protecting them. (Meanwhile how many Catholic priests are rotting in jail now because they molested the children they were supposed to be protecting? Oh, that's right. None)
