Is the Homosexual of today the expendable person that the Jewish person was during the holocaust? It seems like that to me. People use their religious beliefs to discriminate against gays the same way people used to discriminate against the Jews in Nazi Germany. But let's not forget that homosexuals were exterminated in Germany then too.

But let's not forget that homosexuals were exterminated in Germany then too. While I agree with the emotion behind this, I think we are far from that scenario, and headed in the opposite direction. While the homosexual population is not treated equally before the law, as yet we have not used the law actively against them either. When it is tried, it doesn't stick, as was the case in Texas a few months back. So, fear not. The day will come when the promise of the 14th Amendment is held. It's almost inevitable at this point. - Rick
