So here is my review of the Anger Management Tour 3. I know you have all waited patiently. First let me say Em was awesome. But I'll start at the beginning. Lil Jon opened the show. Now Rick knows that I am not a Lil Jon fan. But I may be now. He was so fun. Rocked the roof off the mutherfucker. Lil Jon may not be the most prolific rapper but his music was made to be performed live. He also did something cool. He ran off the stage and up to the back of the seats and sang one for the people in the grass. He was also kinda funny. He said, "White girls show us your titties" Apparently white girls do this on command and don't even require beads if it's a famous rapper involved. A proud moment for white girls. Anyway, Pitbull and Lil Scrappy performed with Lil Jon. Pitbull was great. For those who don't know, he is this latino rapper who is very good. Then came 50 cent. Now this is the 3rd time I've seen 50 and I have to say he is very over rated live. His set was cool but he played way too long IMO. Honestly I'm over the gunshots after every song. It's boring. But the crowd seemed to enjoy him a lot so what do I know. Everyone in my group agreed though that he wasn't that good. Of course G unit was there. I do like Young Buck and a highlight for me was when they did "Shorty wanna ride " Ludacris was there but did not perform. He came onstage to smoke a joint with G unit. MOP and Mobb Deep were there and both performed with G unit. I liked his set. Lots of pyrotechnic stuff. By the time 50 finally left the stage the anticipation was high for Eminem. His set was awesome. It was a three floor set with doors which the members of D12 came in and out of during the show. But it also has the coolest lightshow on it. Hard to describe. One minute it looked like a stained glass church then the next minute a spider building a web. Extremely Cool. He opened with Evil Deeds. Did most of the stuff from Encore. He did "I just don't give a fuck" from Slim Shady LP, "Kill you" "What you say I am" and "Stan" from Marshall Mather LP and "Cleanin out my Closet" from Eminem Show. He also did an encore of "Lose Yourself" that was incredible. He did "Crackalatin" {sp?) "My Band" "How Come" and "Pour ya forties out" from D12 world. He also apologized to Michael Jackson but did it with a surgical mask on and then started throwing babies (dolls) into the audience right before singing "Just lose it" and he took a few minutes to make fun of Mariah Carey as he started singing "Puke" Everyone put their mutherfucking middle fingers up in the air and screamed fuck you Debbie (his mom) which my daughter seemed especially to enjoy. Outgirl aka Debbie for anyone who doesn't know. Bizzare did a song from his solo record. Obie Trice and Stat Quo also performed with Em. 50 came out with Em and did "Patiently waiting" The only complaint that I have is that I would have liked less 50 cent and more Eminem. I wish Em would have done more of his older songs but I get that he wants to do the newer stuff. Sad that he didn't do "Without me" But read in an interview that he hates doing all those slim shady songs and that they had been talking him into still doing "without me" for the fans but he hates doin it now. I guess he decided fuck the fans, lol. It was high energy all the way though and he performed his heart out. Of course Proof was right there with him and cool as ever. He changed his clothes about 4 times during the show. At the end of the show fireworks went off on the set and confetti dropped from the roof. We also had great seats about row 20 and could see everything. I'm so glad I went. Did I mention that he was very cute too? If you ever get a chance to see him...go. He is an awesome performer. I just read that his tours are limited because he will only be on the road for like 3 days and then he goes home for 3 days and then back again. He doesn't like being away from his family that long and he says the money isn't that important to him anymore. So 50 cent is coming to St Louis while Em is at home. Funny way to tour but good for him for putting his life and his family first.
