I don't really know what the answer is here. Affirmative action was needed in it's day but now seems outdated. Yet unlike most of those on this site, I do believe in equal opportunity protections under the law. I'm just not sure how to regulate it.

I also believe that it has not been necessary to celebrate white pride because we have done that for years in our schools and business's. It's important to teach the young gay or African American child about the contributions that have been made in this society by gays and blacks in our history. Pride in one's heritage is not a bad thing.

If you believe in equal opportunity, then you should be against Affirmative Action, as it separates and gives preference to one race over another. - Rick
