*shrug* I was right with the guy that suggested php quietly kill himself, for the sake of the rest of humanity...but I couldn't stay there. I could not hold onto that anger. It's like it fell away.
That's odd, because I harbored anger toward my grade school tormenters well into my college years.
Anger, when harbored, is a toxin. It won't hurt php...but it will hurt us.
It is better for us to let it go, to forgive. It can be hard to do, and it can take time, but forgiveness is good for US.
It doesn't mean being friends with the guy - that trust is gone. It just means letting go...not giving php any more power over us.
I pray for all of us.

I agree with you Kender about hatred being a toxin. I make it a point to never hold grudges. My mom says my attention span isn't long enough for grudges and that is probably true. And if it is true, it's a blessing b/c I really hate being mad at people. That's not to say that I don't learn my lesson. There are people with whom I no longer associate, not b/c I'm angry with them or hold a grudge but b/c they are not people who enhance my life in any way. But staying angry really saps my energy, ya know?

I'll tell ya, I've been known to hold a grudge.
