I am not normal and I don't want to be, yet I spend my days wearing the costume for the play. I live in West County, drive a Toyota Avalon and know which fork to use when. But my soul sours when I drive the Ram 2500 out to the country, wearing the steel toes and toting the rod and reel. I am most happy on a bike, cruising at 80 mph with the wind blowing in my hair and the bugs splattering the goggles.
My heart is liberal and my head is more conservative. I've been known to cry over the death of a fox, yet shed not a tear for an unworthy soul. I don't believe in eternal life, yet there is a force that guides my actions. Coincidence exists for a reason.
I believe the mind is more powerful than we can imagine and the line between reality and fantasy is blurred. I don't see black and white, but I acknowledge its existence. I don't have to like it. I generally keep my true opinions to myself, but when I express them, I express them. I have a tendency to push buttons just because they are there.
My basic philosophy is live your life how you want and I will do the same. Just respect the boundaries when our lives comingle and all is good. I know what I would go to jail over, I know what I would die for, and you don't want me to go there.
I have three bad ass kids, three cats, a turtle, a dog (sort of) and a real problem with authority. I smoke, drink and cuss like a sailor. I love sex, music, true friends, and good times. I consider myself a redneck, a country wannabe, yet I have convinced some fairly important people otherwise, but mostly in a previous life.
I want to be a libertarian really bad, but I just don't have the faith that Rick has. But the ideology rocks - cause I hate the nannification of the government, the idea that I have to be protected from me, the concept that the government knows what's best. I believe in the existence of a strong military, but a stronger ethics.
