Pretty much agree. I like that the author offers suggestions on how to end the war if you are opposed to it.
If CNN can find Osama, why can't our government? Oh yeah, they're saving him for the big election.

I have a problem with not showing support for our troops in Iraq. Most of them are kids that have used the military as their only means to an education. Rich kids don't go to war. While they may have chosen to take that route they had every right to expect that the government not risk their lives so casually and unnecesarily. Other than that, I agree with everything else. Maybe we need to get offline and get back in the streets. And of course, It only reaffirms for me the need to put these bastards out of a job and out of our lives.

No, I support the soldiers. I just think the guy meant not to turn this into some kind of beautiful, media-hyped thing. Let's not give Bush another chance to pat himself on the back.

You don't really believe this, do you? - Rick To some extent, yes I do. I believe that Al Queda was not as aggressively focused on as Iraq though it should have been. I believe Bush and his team were forcing a situation in Iraq instead of dealing with one from Al Queda. There weren't weapons of mass destruction. Never were. I believe if the 150 billion we will spend on this war by Sept. were spent finding Osama and destrying Al Queda, it would be done. We also should have stayed a bit longer in Afghanastan as the Taliban started trying to regain control as soon as we packed for Iraq. As to being paranoid, that's funny to me because that is how I think of Libertarians when it comes to individual rights. Hehe. It all comes full circle, huh?

I thought you were implying they had him or were following him, waiting for the best political moment to do him in. That I would find paranoid. What you said above was completely rational. We're still in Afganistan, by the way, just not as strong a presence as is needed. j/k - Rick

We should have stayed and really secured Afghanistan. Now we don't have the resources. I am a completely rational individual all the time. Everyone says so. j/k - Rick

Well let me be the voice of paranoia and irrational thought. It would not surprise me at all if they actually had clues to his whereabouts and suddenly find him 2 weeks before the election.
